The Sacksafoam product line consists of foam systems that allow operators to meet agency or end-user requirements for foam drops in aerial firefighting operations. There are three separate Sacksafoam products available depending on which Bambi Bucket system you are operating.
The Sacksafoam Bladder is a foam injection system designed for the transfer and dispensing of aerial firefighting foam, specifically designed to work in conjunction with the standard, single-dump Bambi Bucket and Bambi Multi-Dump buckets. This bladder is designed to be easily installed inside all Bambi Buckets, where the built-in pump allows for accurate foam distribution, avoiding foam waste, and creating more foam-filled drops.
The Sacksafoam Heli-Case is designed for use with larger helicopters that use multi-dump Bambi Max or Bambi Torrentula™ buckets. Each foam system allows for precise, reliable foam injection to enhance your drop effectiveness on the fireline. In addition, the Heli-Case is designed to be installed and strapped down inside helicopters to supply foam concentrate through a line attached to the bucket. Further, the Heli-Case gives more control to the pilot or crew on board, allowing each load to be filled precisely with foam. The Case will hold up to 25 USG (95 Litres) of foam concentrate. Compatible with bucket models 2024-HL5000 Sacksafoam, plus available for additional foam concentrate 40 USG (151 L).
The Sacksafoam Plus is a fully enclosed reserve tank for the Sacksafoam Heli-Case. The Plus provides additional foam storage for helicopters equipped with large Bambi Buckets (BB 5566 to HL 9800) to maximize firefighting capability by synchronizing refueling and foam refill cycles. Some of its specifications include, a fully enclosed reserve tank for the Sacksafoam Heli-Case injection systems, and the tank holds 40 USG (150 L) of foam concentrate.
