Sirens

GAAM supplies the Federal Signal range of sirens. The siren amplifiers are available in a wide variety of installation configurations.

The Rumbler improves intersection warning effectiveness through its ability to interact with most 100/200-watt siren amplifiers and provide secondary, low frequency duplicate tones. It is also a secondary system with built-in safety which senses the primary siren tone signal, and reduces the signals’ frequency by 75%. It then amplifies the sound through a pair of high output woofers. The system’s timer allows the tone to sound for eight seconds, providinghighly effective warning at hazardous intersections, and then automatically shuts off. The Rumbler is particularly effective when used in dense urban environments with heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic. A complete Rumbler intersection-clearing system consists of an amplifier, with built-in timer and two subwoofers. This system can be paired with most 100/200-watt emergency siren amplifiers.

These mini sirens provide 100-watt output and can operate from 12-volt negative ground vehicle electrical system. The MS4000U (mini siren) is designed especially for the undercover officer and volunteer fire fighters. Siren functions are activated in the same manner as the standard MS4000, but from switches mounted onto a small, remote switch panel.

This totally enclosed, fully featured siren will operate from 12-volt negative ground vehicle electrical system. The PA300 can be powered directly by the vehicle’s battery or through secondary power distribution centres.

Federal Signal’s innovative 650 series siren allows for all sound and light functions to be enabled by rubberised push buttons located on the unit’s compact band easy to use microphone control head.
