Fire Brigade and Rescue crews need to quickly establish a structured staging scene, with easy access to tools and full breathing apparatus cylinders. To assist with this organisation, GAAM Emergency Products has launched two new Staging Mats from Avon Manufacturing.

Exclusively distributed in Australia by GAAM, the Avon Apparatus (SCBA) Mats get tools and rescue equipment off the ground and tarpaulins or makeshift rigs into order; saving valuable time in emergency situations. Made from 525g rip-stop vinyl, these staging mats are the first of their kind in Australia and can be customised on request.

The SCBA Air Cylinder Mat measures 182 x 94 cm and holds 12 cylinders; six on each side. Either side of the mat is marked as Full (green) or Empty (red) to help avoid confusion when new cylinders are urgently required. These mats are designed to be quickly and easily set up at any emergency scene and the rip-stop vinyl material ensures they are water and weather proof as well as easy to clean using just soap and water
