Nozzles and monitors are critical components in fighting fires – these devices direct the water or foam onto the flame. They need to be well suited to the type of fire likely to be encountered as well as being well matched to the flow and pressure characteristics of the pump. And they need to be easy for operators to handle in a variety of situations and positions. GAAM has an extensive range of nozzles providing different spray patterns and as well as nozzles for foam application. All nozzles provided by GAAM have been tested for robustness to make sure they can handle the rough and tumble of emergency fire work.

G-Force Nozzle

GAAM Emergency Products offer a range of Task Force Tips (TFT) nozzles called G-Force. The G-Force is a newly designed slide valve nozzle from TFT and is one of GAAM’s four Selectable or Selectable Ultimatic hand nozzles. The TFT G-Force nozzles come with stainless steel spinning teeth, have an unparalleled flow range of 110-570 LPM and are available with either five bar or seven bar operating pressure.

GAAM offers 3 types of Automatic Hand Nozzles;

Automatic;
The TFT “Ultimatic 125” has an unprecedented flow range of 10-125 GPM. The compact size and reduced weight of this automatic nozzle make it an outstanding performer for 1” as well as 1.5” hose. The “Ultimatic 25”features flush without shutting down, moulded rubber bumper with “power fog” teeth, detent flow control, “Gasket Grabber” inlet screen, exclusive TFT slide valve, optional colour coded pistol grip and the rugged dependability you have come to expect from Task Force Tips. The “Ultimatic 125” is available in several configurations for a wide variety of applications. It is adjustable from a straight stream to a dense fog pattern.

Mid-Range Automatic;
The TFT Mid-Matic series has all the features of the TFT automatic handline, but in a smaller more compact size. With a wide flow range of 70-200 GPM, the Mid- Matic series can be used on 1.5”, 1.75” and 2” hose. The Mid-Matic features flush without shutting down, moulded rubber bumper with “power fog” teeth, detent flow control, “Gasket Grabber” inlet screen, exclusive TFT slide valve, and the rugged dependability you have come to expect from Task Force Tips. Most Mid-Matic models are fully NFPA compliant, and are available in tip only configuration, with stainless steel slide valve, and optional coloured-coded pistol grip and handle covers.

Dual Pressure Automatic;
A TFT Mid-Force has the functionality of the TFT Dual –Force, only it’s smaller.
The wide flow range of 70-200 GPM allows the Mid-Force to be used on 1.5”, 1.75” and 2” hose. The TFT Mid-Force is a truly rugged, dependable and effective mid-range firefighting nozzle. This nozzle is equipped with a low-pressure override, which allows the nozzle to achieve greater flows at lower nozzle pressures. All nozzles are regulated to 100PSI ± 15 PSI according to NFPA #1964 flow requirements. It is adjustable from a straight stream to a dense fog pattern. Handle covers and pistol grips are available in NFPA colours to identify a nozzle with its discharge.

Selectable Hand Nozzle Range

GAAM offers 3 types of Selectable Hand Nozzles;

Selectable Gallonage (Quadrafog);
The 30-125 GPM Quadrafog is designed for 1-1/2” hose lines. The compact
Quadrafog is a rugged and dependable, NFPA compliant, selectable gallonage nozzle. Available in either tip only configuration, or with a stainless ball shutoff, the Quadrafog is also available with an optional colour-coded pistol grip. All 1½” Quadrafogs accept wither the FJ-LX-FQ FOAMJET low-expansion or the FJ-MXFQ FOAMJET multi-expansion foam aspiration attachment and come with your choice of fixed or stainless steel spinning fog teeth.

Selectable Gallonage (Thunderfog);
The Thunderfog is available in two basic series: the 200 series, with a selectable flow range of 30-200 GPM, and the 250 series, with a selectable flow range of 95-250 GPM. The 200 series is an excellent choice for 1-1/2 or 1-3/4” hose lines, and for higher flows, the 250 series will work with 1-1/2” through 2-1/2” lines. All Thunderfogs are NFPA compliant, and are available in tip only configuration, or with stainless steel ball shutoff and optional colour-coded pistol grips. All Thunderfogs accept the FJ-MX-FT FOAMJET Multi-expansion foam aspirating attachment, and come with your choice of fixed or stainless steel spinning fog teeth.

Dual Gallonage (Twister);
The 1” Twister is a selectable, dual gallonage combination nozzle, available in ¾” or 1” threads, and designed for simplicity and durability. The rubber bumper provides a positive grip and protects the front end. Twisting the shaper from the off position produces the following settings: low flow straight stream, low flow narrow fog, high flow straight stream, them high flow fog. The Twister, with its optional colour-coded pistol grip, is a rugged economical nozzle that will accept the FJ-MX-D FOAMJET Multi-expansion foam aspirating attachment.

Crossfire Monitors

The Crossfire monitor is the most versatile and innovative master stream appliance ever offered to the fire service. Its lightweight, compact design and unique quick-release swivel joint allow for a faster and safer stream deployment in the portable attack mode. The Safe-Tak 1250 utilizes the revolutionary, patent pending Safe-Tak "flow safety valve". Should the monitor lose contact with the ground surface, the Safe-Tak will automatically reduce flow to the monitor. This safety feature reduces the
risk of injury from an out-of-control appliance. Monitor top and base are hardcoat anodised aluminum with TFpowder coat finish inside and out.

Blitzfire Ground Monitor

The Task Force Tips Blitzfire is a simple, light, and highly manoeuvrable attack monitor. The Blitzfire's low elevation angle makes it suitable for use indoors. It can go anywhere a handline goes while delivering far more water. If the Blitzfire starts to slide or lift the SAFETY SHUT-OFF VALVE automatically shuts off the flow of water. This safety feature reduces the risk of injury from an out-of-control appliance. The shut-off slows near stroke end to eliminate water hammer. To reset the flow simply open the valve to any of six detent flow positions with the turbulence-free slide valve. The Blitzfire's discharge pivots make directing the stream extremely quick and effortless. A unique up/down pivot on the hose inlet allows the monitor to have stability even on porches, stair landings or the like. An anchor strap is included for safe operation on slick surfaces like marble floors. The main body is hardcoat anodized aluminium with a TFT powder coat finish inside and out. Patents Pending

Personal rescue Tool for Automobile accidents. Cuts Seal belts and breaks side windows!

The new RES-Q-ME from Task Force Tips is a small versatile tool that can save your life! This ingenious device is intended to be placed with your car keys. It contains a spring loaded stainless steel pin that will break any tempered glass window* and a stainless steel blade for cutting seatbelts. The break apart design allows the RES-Q-ME to be quickly removed from its storage location without removing the keys from the ignition. The RES-Q-ME is easily carried on a key ring or can be attached to different placed in your vehicle.

* This took will NOT break windshields or other window made LAMINATED glass. Some vehicles have laminated side windows. On these vehicles that RES-Q-ME will still function on the rear window.
